Exquisite beaches, turquoise water and the spice-scented streets of Stone Town.
Zanzibar delivers the postcard: powder-white sand, dhows drifting past at sunset and water in shades of blue you have to see to believe. It is also one of the best-value island holidays you can fly to from South Africa.
Beyond the beach there is real culture — UNESCO-listed Stone Town, spice farms, and Swahili food that alone justifies the trip. We pair the right coast and hotel to your style, because in Zanzibar location is everything.
The north (Nungwi and Kendwa) barely has tides and suits swimmers and nightlife; the east coast (Paje, Bwejuu, Michamvi) is quieter with big tidal lagoons and kitesurfing. We'll match you to the right coast first, then the right hotel — it makes or breaks a Zanzibar trip.
From our own trips — the things we tell friends and family.

June to October is cool, dry and ideal. December to February is hotter but still dry. The long rains fall roughly April–May, which is the season to avoid.
Outstanding — intimate beach lodges, private dhow cruises and genuine value compared to other island destinations. We arrange honeymoon extras with the hotels we know personally.
