Vacation Centre is a leading, multi-award-winning travel agency specializing in international travel packages.
We make sure that our clients get the best value for money, advice, and travel tips to make a dream holiday come true. We strongly believe in personal experience and invest in travel ourselves to ensure we know what is best for our valued clients, and have partnerships and affiliations with the best, most reputable, and most reliable operators and wholesalers in the travel industry globally.
Carla de Jongh, the founder, has been in travel since 2011 with Flight Centre Retail, and in 2016 started her own business under the Flight Centre Associate brand. Lourens de Jongh joined her in 2018 and together they have managed to grow the business into a multi award-winning agency providing leisure and corporate travel packages and flights to families, couples, and companies.
The business has rebranded under the Vacation Centre enabling us to have a larger product range to offer our valued clients.
Our foundation is built on relationships, and we believe in the personal touch to make sure each of our valued clients has a dream holiday which meets their specific individual needs. We have strong relationships with all the best operators enabling the widest product range at the best prices.
While we specialize in tropical island holidays across the Indian Ocean Islands of Mauritius, The Maldives, Zanzibar, The Seychelles, and Asian destinations in Bali and Thailand, we can do a variety of different packages such as cruises, ski trips, flights, local travel, destination weddings and incentive and company trips.
More About The Founders
Carla de Jongh
Carla’s career in Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism started in 2006 and she has had the privilege of visiting nearly 300 stunning hotels and holiday properties across 25 countries.
My journey started in the hospitality industry in 2006 in the USA, followed by a stint in the UK, before starting at Flight Centre Retail in 2011. After being promoted to team leader Brooklyn Mall in 2014 and managing to qualify for the Flight Centre Global awards in 2015 in Las Vegas, I decided to pursue my own venture under the Flight Centre Associate brand. After winning numerous awards in South Africa, and Lourens (My husband) joining my team, we decided to rebrand under Vacation Centre. I have an absolute passion for travelling and value long term relationships with my amazing clients.
Lourens de Jongh
Lourens is a sales and marketing professional whose career started in 2006 in the FMCG industry where he had numerous roles across the businesses. Lourens values customer service and is passionate about travelling.
My career started in the FMCG industry working for the South African Breweries over 6 years in different roles mainly in Sales and Marketing. This was followed with Cavalier Foods as the National Sales Manager where I led the sales team in a very exciting time of expansion for the company. In my most recent role, working with my wife Carla, under the Flight Centre Associate brand initially which has now been rebranded under Vacation Centre, we have the privilege of providing our valued clients with incredible holidays, ensuring they get the best value and travel experience.
